Goodbye Cabbage Tree

I love cabbage trees.... When they are out in the country and wild open spaces. Our neighbours had two very large ones growing almost on our boundary. Robin, our new neighbour, cut both cabbage trees down this morning. I had mixed feelings when they were felled. They were magnificent trees but in the wrong place and used to drop dead leaves making a huge amount of mess. So sadly, they had to go.
