For a change I sat up high near the back of the Main Stand at Gresty Road this afternoon.

August used to be when workers in Crewe's railway and car factories took their holidays, and total attendance was definitely on the low side (under 5000 despite over 1000 visiting Portsmouth fans). Nobody was seated in any of the rows in front of me today - and I had the row to myself.

Game finished goal-less.
