The Russian ship Mekhanik Pyatlin, entering Inverness Harbour, with a shipment of timber.
Cycled into town to post off a film to Ilford. Then paid a visit to Carnac Point, after seeing the Pilot boat going out to a waiting ship. The return journey was somewhat longer and more scenic, via Milton of Redcastle.
Whilst out and about, did some experimenting with the tail end of a film that may have been partly used in the late 1980's! Used it up in this camera. Double gamble - does the film work; and does the camera work? Fingers crossed. Really need to try a new(!) film in that camera sometime. And likewise with the even older "Oly". So a couple of 24-exposure films are on the shopping list for the next visit to Ffordes. B&W, of course.
