Sally lightfoot crab - Galapagos

These crabs seemed to be on all the islands we visited, but they aren't as easy to take pics of as you might think, as they are very sensitive to movement and sound and move away into crevices quickly.

They really are this gorgeous colour.

this crab has provided someone's meal - one leg is missing, but it will grow another one.
