Gunpowder works

Today, mum and dad took us 5 minutes up the road to this little hidden treasure. Kennal Vale gunpowder works. In the height of their production they produced 4-5 thousand barrels of gunpowder. A wonderful woodland walk full of derelict buildings and mills, it is now managed by the Cornwall Wildlife trust. Really interesting and a lovely walk.
