He's not well . . .

They only come and sit on the slip when they are poorly, and this one seems to have a bad leg.  He sat there all day, in the drizzle, mostly with a few eider duck for company.  

It's a cormorant - or shag, tricky to tell the difference, but I'm going cormorant.
