Up the creek.
This morning we went to Dunelm to get curtains for the two small bedrooms.then we went to the new Waitrose in Truro where we had a coffee and cherry and almond scone which was very nice.we bought a couple of chicken and bacon sandwiches and then drove to Coombe creek and walked along the waters edge to Cowlands and sat on the wall and ate our sandwiches.its such a peacefull place away from all the traffic.the cottages that are scattered around the creek are now holiday accomodation.there is a apple orchard and around the creek are Kea plum trees which are used for making jam.i picked a few plums for one of my extra pics.my main pic is looking towards cowlands .we stopped and chatted to a couple sitting on their boat having their lunch they often do that enjoying the tranquility.them we meet another couple walking and the husband was a volunteer at the maritime museum the same as H so it was another few minutes chatting.and the weather was beautiful today.
