Nostalgic

Was driving any better back in the past?Certainly the roads were a lot less busy.Were drivers more courteous?Did old people have any manners?

I ask these questions after spending most of today on the road and clocking over 100,000 miles in the van in just over three years.As everyone on the road knows the white van driver is the kindest and most considerate driver on the road.The modern day knight of the road.

Today while filtering onto the slip road behind a wagon a clown in a car who had left it far too late forced its way in front of me causing me to brake hard.As the road opened out into two lanes I went to overtake and out it dives in front again and around the truck.As I passed the driver gives me the V sign! Believe it or not a little old woman.I find the younger generation could certainly teach a lot of them a lesson in manners.
