Walls

A leisurely start to the day, except when I was asked to serve up a fried egg roll to the house guest! The co-ordination had to be pretty good - it’s not an easy dish to get right and all too easy to get spectacularly wrong. Phew.
And then off up town to meet up with J&L to see Big Bite-Size Lunch Hour: Best Bites at the Pleasance Dome. What a terrific show - five short plays, all of which were so well done; amusing, perceptive, inventive. Just top entertainment. And afterwards on to Thomas J. Walls, the old optician in Forrest Road which is now an eatery. And which is rather good. Neat artwork too.
Home to start planning retirement. Glastonbury next year? Anstruther? The Faroes? A list is called for. But first…. let’s make sure MOTD 2 is set to record. Goals aplenty!
