Sunset In The Eastern Sky

I haven't been outside for more than just a couple of minutes at a time since Tuesday and have been even keeping the a/c cooler than usual since I've been housebound. From all accounts, it's been pretty hot - today was our fiftieth day in triple digits - and we're forecast to go above our annual average within the next two weeks.

My timing was pretty good today. I was actually awake just before sunset. The eastern sky and the mountains, often glow pink as the sun goes down in the west.

Thus, the infamous Green Valley saying, "When the mountains turn pink, it's time to drink."
