Late Afternoon

A calm start to the day, the wind picking up but it is now calming down again!

A quiet day, we were late last night so have just done a few jobs and chilled out.

I took this from our Balcony as we were waiting to eat.   It is taken between the top rail looking over towards Guardias Viejas.   You can see a Surfer and two Kite Surfers enjoying late afternoon on the sea.

We had steak tonight with new potatoes and tomato salsa.   Previously we have cooked the whole piece on the Plancha but tonight decided to slice it and cook it as we wanted it.   It was deliciously tender.   However, we could not eat it all!   Had we cooked the steaks as two pieces we would have eaten it all.   It just goes to show that we are used to eating what we see on our plate!    Leftovers for tomorrows' lunch - result!
