Bill and Ben

We were off to set up for the Dalston Agricultural show today.  As we approached the village I spotted a man (at least I thought it was a man) he puzzled me a bit as his left arm seemed to be making some sort of signal.  It turned out he was a scarecrow advertising Dalston Festival.  The show appears to be one of the last items in their week long festival.

A little further round the corner I was greeted by this pair.  The house must be owned by people of a certain age.  Bill and Ben were first broadcast in 1952  (watch with Mother) and repeated on and off for 20 years.

After searching the field for our marked out pitch we got set up easily and soon had the marquee set up to Clickychick's liking and could relax.
