Marbled beauty

I spent a good hour and a bit this afternoon driving around aimlessly looking for something anything to blip!
I wonder, does anyone else do that? or is it just me....nothing took my eye, and every shot I took turned out rubbish!  I did manage to gain entry into the mostly locked St John's church at Coolhurst, which was beautiful inside with a stunning signed Kempe window, but I like to vary my journal, and too many churches spoil my hard work and no doubt bore my followers too!
So in the end I have settled for this very pretty little moth the Marbled beauty Cryphia domestica, a quite small (25mm) common little moth that not surprisingly feeds on lichens.
Hopefully tomorrow something will really inspire me....
