Colne's Gold Post Box!

We went past the gold post box that had been painted for Steven Burke the London Olympic cyclist.

Steven Burke, Ed Clancy, Geraint Thomas, Peter Kennaugh's won a gold medal in the Men's Cycling Team Pursuit final. He has done a fantastic job and is an improvement on his bronze medal at the last Olympics. He was given a civic reception then so this time he will be receiving the Freeman of the Borough of Pendle.

Famous people like Steven Burke and Eric Knowles are from Pendle but because the maternity unit is in Burnley they are down as being born in Burnley as they were.
