Steam Train to The Borders

This afternoon we took the steam train from Edinburgh Waverley to Tweedbank indulging in a gourmet meal with champagne and wine along the way, finishing up with a mini guided tour of Abbotsford House, Walter Scott's residence.

What a lovely treat (it was for a review, thank you Scotrail), a brilliant experience - the food was good, the staff were great and the views from the train just lovely - highly recommend this - I believe they're running it every Sunday (twice a day) for the next couple of months.
