Kerikeri Christmas Parade
It hasn't felt like Christmas at all to us so far in this heat, despite the christmas decorations in the shops. However the weather turned slightly cooler tonight (19C)for the annual Christmas parade and we had a shower which lasted the whole period and then stopped on cue right at the end.
There are about 6,000 people in Kerikeri and it seemed that half were on the floats and the other half watching. It was a great spectacle despite the rain but quite difficult to photograph. These keep fitters are from a group/organisation called 'Curves for Women', according to the placard.
