The water is alight

Waking at Lake Tarawera this morning, we spotted this odd bright light on the lake across the lagoon. Beautiful but puzzling in the mist it remanied for about 15 minutes. Perhaps a reflection from the building above, but that didn't make angular sense.
A cloudless day here and about 9 deg celsius, not a breath of wind and truly a paradise.
