Beach* Volleyball

Our first chance to sample the 'lympic games/spirit first hand and we're off to Whitehall to watch some beach volleyball.

Saw the womens defending champions see off the Netherlands with no real problems. Then Team U-S-A take on their old friends the Russians. That was tighter, but ended in a two set victory for the 'mericans.

It was a great atmosphere and yes, a little surreal to be sat in a stand on a beach in central London at 11pm in t-shirts. Good stuff.
