Go Mo!

What a day. We spent the afternoon around the Olympic Park, and the evening in the Olympic Stadium. Lots of photos of venues and people, many close-ups of race finishes, athletes celebrating, and medal ceremonies, but I had to blip this stadium shot just after Mo Farah went to the front at the start of the final lap. The noise and emotion of the last 800m and celebrations afterwards were unbelievable.

After British successes during the day, and golds already for Jessica Ennis and Greg Rutherford in the stadium it seemed too much to hope for a third on the night, but the whole place went crazy mental cheering on Mo, and he delivered an amazing finish.
