Morning in Maine

Foggy, cool and very humid this morning. I braved the mosquitoes to snap this view from the cemetery next to us. The fog was trying to lift off  of Machias Bay. It hasn't yet, the sun looks like it might manage to win. We don't care. It's very humid, but the temperature is cool, that is a relief from home.

Raspberry did really well on her trip up, singing only for a short while. When she was released inside he house in Machiasport, she immediately went to all her favorite spots and settled in perfectly . She's snoring happily in her bed this morning.
