Sunbathing?

This little wren chick was spreading its wings, apparently enjoying the sun, on the roof of the feeding table at the nature reserve this morning.  A keen amateur ornithologist in the hide told us that it had been on the feeding table among the seed several times but was looking for insects, not seed, and now was spreading its tiny wings to rid itself of any unwelcome visitors among its feathers.  Fascinating.
