Mono Monday - Sound

MM134: Presenting Sound in a photograph... really demands something a little abstract, I think. This is my double bass, with a sliver of focal plane - a curved plane in this case, bending across the fingerboard. The drifting focus lends itself to a feeling of plucked strings; thrumming vibrations that make ones skull resonate and reverberate. And the marker dots on the fretboard melt away into the milky surroundings like regimented bokeh, an incremental music of the spheres... or so I imagined. Must be the weather, eh JDO?
