Photos for the blind
I couldn't imagine life without sight, so when I was asked to shoot images for the blind it came as quite a shock. In reality, they wanted images to include in a slideshow for fund raising.
The charity concerned publishes a talking newspaper and we've produced images on a memory stick to replace the old 35mm slideshow they'd used for years. They've recently progressed to distributing their talking newspaper on the web and on memory sticks, having previously used CDs and tape cassettes. They're a great bunch of volunteers who provide a super service in the Dacorum area.
The image above shows the memory sticks being updated with the latest version of the newspaper. The recipients simply plug the stick into their player and listen.
