Serendipity

By EdwardHealey

Nearly forgot I had this.

This has been languishing in the garage for a couple of years unused and unloved so I thought it was time to dust it down and go for a spin. I'd forgotten how good it is for the highways and byways of leafy Leicestershire. Perfect for stringing together country lanes and bridleways. It did, however reward me for neglecting it by deciding that the left shifter wouldn't shift so I was stuck in big ring, easy to fix on the trail though by disconnecting the cable and leaving it in small ring. A bit of research with colleagues at work tells me that it's often a frayed cable inside the shifter so that's my job this weekend.
