Three marinades

"I'd like marinated chicken done on the barbecue".  Marinade one: soy sauce, honey, cider vinegar, and a little chilli.  Marinade two: olive oil, Balsamic vinegar, garlic, chopped basil leaves.  Marinade three, pesto, tomato paste, chilli.  Two hours marinading in plastic bags in the fridge, ten minutes on the barbecue.  N did creamed potato milled through the "mouli legumes".  It was hot, so it was a rosé day.  Of course we worked for our dinner.  I finished the final side of the retaining wall for the new terrace.  N gave the rear shutters and window frames a much needed coat of varnish.
