Huddersfield's First Public Park
Beaumont Park is a fine example of a Victorian park - it was opened on 13 October 1883.
The town was to host its first Royal visit, by HRH Prince Leopold, Duke of Albany (the youngest son of Queen Victoria), and his wife Princess Helene, Duchess of Albany, for the official opening.
Today in the warm sunshine it was a lovely place to wander around.
Mrs MD has Blipped a more conventional view.
My new BT Superfast Broadband - Infinity 2 - has now got to the dizzy heights of 2.0 Mbps - but BT are 'working on the fault'......:-(
