Hartlepool Today

Ann wanted to revisit the Trincomalee which is moored permanently in the Old Harbour in Hartlepool.  She's been doing some transcribing on behalf of the Families in British India website for the last few years, which I think sparked her interest again.  The last time we were there was ten years ago - Hartlepool has changed lots and the museum where the ship is housed is now in the care of the Royal Navy.  She really is a very magnificent frigate and beautifully restored.
We called in the supermarket in Saltburn on the way home to stock up and buy our evening meal so had a short walk along a lovely but very breezy cliff top before heading back to the moors.
