Posers paradise

Had a wonderful day out in Central Park - literally spent the whole day there, picknicking, roller bladingg (for the younger members of the party), boating and walking.

It is such a buzzy place - I've never known such a "happening" open space in a big city, it really is where families and couples and groups go to do things rather than just hang out. A lot of individuals go there to pose - particularly guys showing off their six packs and women their bikini figures.

Don't think I've got much to offer in that respect although I do have quite nice hands ... not really the same thing ...

Had THE most fantastic meal in the evening a place called Eatery which I have to say was suberb; the food was gorgeous and we were all fighting over the waiter in another one of those "if you were to ... "  conversations; he was lovely. Doon't miss it if you are in New York.

There is a great view from the second floor of the Time Warner centre and a fab food hall in the basement - great place to buy your picnic in the park.

Shattered come home time - fast asleep by 9.30 - forecast for the rest of the week is unsettled but it won't dampen our enthusiasm ...
