Redpoint

Summer came today! 20 plus degrees, a light wind and hours of sunshine. We had booked to take a trip on the glass-bottomed boat. What a fabulous experience that was! Wildlife galore above and below water, wonderful scenery and a skipper who's obvious enjoyment of his job, knowledge of the area and friendly personality made for a five star morning. A fine lunch out was followed by a trip up to Redpoint with its great views of Skye and the Outer Hebrides, and an exhilarating walk on the beach. It was as clear today as I've ever seen, I reckon some 50 miles. And the forecast for tomorrow is more of the same!
