Seasons

Church today.

I have been in church all my adult life, through all the ups and downs of life and faith.

As I looked round today I desperately longed for something more- higher, deeper... an exuberant burst of incredible music, passionate and committed praise to celebrate our amazing Creator..... I felt so stirred up to sing at the top of my lungs as if my very soul depended on it.......then a familiar little face appeared before me: "mammy I need to pee-pee" and my reverie popped like a bubble.
