Moving the rose

I have a shrub rose that is not thriving in my rose garden so today was the day to dig it up and move it. It is not a perfect time of year to do this but it seems to have a pest that it is now giving to its neighbours. So out it goes. My boys replanted in the forest. We will see if it survives the transplant and the deer. Worth a try. Back home on the Island. Yes!! there is NO place like HOME. ;-)
