On the Shelf

"On the shelf"
A term for people who feel they are undesirable.

Actually the space on my shelves is reserved for things I like the look of best. These were nearly all gifts. The Galileo thermometer was a 21st present. The clock was from my mother. The vase from my mother in law, and she gave us the ornament as well, as a wedding gift. The flowers next to that are paper, and came from the top tier of our wedding cake.
