Geocache Lesson
Hello Blipfriends!
Dolly reporting!
Today was a blissful rest day! BUT - Alice and her mum always have an 11 o'clock walkie so of course we went with them. We went to their nearby Oak Meadows that are part of the big nature reserve, almost on their doorstep. Besides the many old oaks, there are also lots of old rocks so I think it could also be called the rock meadows!
While we were walking, me and Mum decided we were going to see if there were any geocaches around. Mum looked at the app on her phone and guess what? We were almost on top of one! But - this was a more complicated 'puzzle geocache' and Alice and her mum had to help us with it because we'd never done one of those before.
This is me and Alice, almost at the point where we found it!! Since it was Alice and her mum who introduced us to geocaching, it's great to have had a geocaching lesson from them. We enjoyed the rest of our sunny walk which included meeting a few of the sheep and finding 2 more (easier) caches.
Later in the day me and Mum took Elisabet shopping in OUR car so we could drive around with the top down. Just for a treat. We tried not to scare Elisabet with the steering wheel on the opposite side to Swedish cars. At least Mum remembered not to drive on the left!
While Elisabet was in the human supermarket, we visited the GIANT pet supermarket next door! Wow!! We've never seen anything so big in England! I got to sniff out lots of wonderful dog treats, and since I felt bad that we had left Alice behind, I convinced Mum to buy a bag of pick-n-mix treats to take home for her. OK - for BOTH of us!
