Modernism in a Mug

It's no co-incidence that I'm reading up on Modernist art at the moment for my dissertation. In some strains of Modernism, it's the art of reducing a scene or image to it's bare essentials.

This seemed to fit the brief, and is a shallow focus shot of the detail on our back door as reflected in my mug of tea!
