Seizing the day

I had a list of things I should have done today, but instead I went down to the coast to meet-up with some old friends. 

Always a tricky prospect in summer as parking is absolutely atrocious, but given this friend is special and has been very ill, it was important to be there.

We had a lovely time, packed in like sardines, and co-incidentally that is what a few of our group ordered!  ;)

Nice to see my chum looking well and we have plans to see each other again before she heads home.
