Swiss Style??
Digital group today and we chose to try another tutorial by Marty Geller:
How to Design & Create a Vintage, Swiss-style,International Typographic Poster.
“Photoshop CC 2015 tutorial showing how to design and create a classic, 1950s Swiss-style, International Typographic poster. This style, also known as the Swiss Style, emerged in the 1920s and was made famous by designers in Switzerland during the 1950s. Hallmarks of the style are asymmetric layouts, use of a grid, sans-serif typefaces, and flush left, ragged right text”.
Not having the fonts he used I decided to try using Batman Forever Alternative for the coloured numbers and Arial Nova for the text. This is not 'flush left'! But I quite like it! In actual fact he gives links to the font below the video. Click on the links and the fonts download automatically. All you do then is open the file and click on Install and you find it in Photoshop! (it worked fine in CS5!)
Now to find a use for it!!
