Collecting the Stooks

On the way home this afternoon came across these men collecting the stooks.  I have never seen one of these machines before and spent several minutes watching them working. There was another tractor with a collector on the front that collected the big rolls of stooks, and put them in a large trailer to go into store, I assume.
