Coming in to land

Not a lot of sleep on the eight hour flight from Johannesburg to Frankfurt then, when I did fianlly manage to get some shut-eye, we were woken up at three in the morning for breakfast! Reasonably good flight, mind you, as I was sitting between an American who is working in Botswana on his way for his first visit to Europe and a South African who now lives in London. Interesting to talk to both of them.

We passed a looong five hour wait in Frankfurt Airport waiting for our connecting flight by having breakfasts number two and three..

Finally, home! Had a wonderful time and celebrated our homecoming with a carry-out curry, as one does....
