Belhaven Beach
There is nearly always a flock of gulls gathered on Belhaven Beach but usually they are much further out to sea. It is unusual for them to come this far up the beach in amongst the river meanders close to the sea wall. I find them difficult to photograph because it is rare to see them in any pattern and there numbers are such that it is difficult to crop the image without cutting a gull in half. One of the things I need to watch with my panasonic FZ330 is that their white reflective plumage tends to exceed the histogram and you are left with blinkies unless you remember to underexpose.
