Sunday soaring!

While having a lazy time sitting in the garden this afternoon, we saw these birds of prey soaring over us for quite a few minutes. I think they are buzzards, but their wing span looked huge!

Last night I went to a fantastic concert at Sherborne Abbey. It was the culmination of the Sherborne Music Summer School, which has been running over the past fortnight. The orchestra played excerpts from Britten's Peter Grimes, and then Elgar's 2nd Symphony. The sound was amazing, brilliant! And the tickets were just £3 on the door!
