Panning for Gold...

This wasn't one of the initial itinerary points but suggested to the kids by our guests.

We headed up to Idaho Springs to try our hand at panning for gold.  It's a rather tedious and string out process that I was surprised Bethany rather enjoyed.  Ewan was a dead loss on it bit out was interesting and we did manage a few scraps of glittery stuff. We ain't gonna retire on it but we managed to get some.
