Family and Friends

The best part of the day was the gathering of family and friends for dinner at our house. Steve's ex wife Susan drove up with her partner Charilie for a visit. They joined us, Helena and my brothers Dave and Steve at our house and we had a wonderful evening together. There was much talk, laughter and fun together. Dave took over the barbecue and cooked the corn and salmon while I prepared the salad. Susan and Helena helped set up and clean up. We all had a great time together. In the photo are, left to right, back row: Dave, Susan, Charlie, me. Front row: Helena, Arvin and Steve. Dexter is in front. Duma hung out under the couch for most of the evening. Mehitabel was very interested in Dexter as she always is. One day those two will connect and bond. They are both very interested in each other. It was a lovely evening for all.
