Triceratops

Veronica and I took the kids to Jilly Bean's Pail of Paint. The idea there is to choose clay pieces, glaze them, and then leave there for firing. Little Man picked a triceratops, and painted it bright blue, head to toe. Interestingly, he had no interest in painting any details on his creature, while David went all out on painting fine detail on his chosen piece, Disney's Pluto.

We spent almost 3 hours there, and it was just what was needed after this activity-filled summer.
