Pattern Play

This is one page from a finished sketchbook I made for both the Sketchbook Project and in my capacity of Guest Designer for Stencilgirl Projects. The idea of the Sketchbook Project is that you buy a sketchbook from them, select a theme (or chose one of your own), fill it up in whatever way you like and then return it to the Brooklyn Art Library, NY where it becomes part of the collection and goes on tour. I have done quite a few sketchbooks for them before. This one was done entirely using gelli plate printing and Stencilgirl stencils. You can read more about the project on my blog.
