Gizmo

We had quite a lazy Sunday here. Caitlin took herself to work so I was able to have a lie-in. It was the first time on the road on her moped since passing her CBT & getting it's MOT done. She is so pleased to be mobile :)

We spent a lovely few hours at the Wing & A Prayer open day where Asha's friend (and our friend too!) Jen works. I had never even heard of the place until Jen invited us along to the open day. It was absolutely lovely there with lots of different birds including a tame turkey :) This little fella had to be blipped though, my favourite of all the owls we saw today. His name is Gizmo and he's a white faced scops owl and these are indigenous to Africa. He's 3 year's old and fully grown. Both Arwen & I stroked his chest - so unbelievably soft!!
