Stowe Gardens

Spent a lovely day in the heat of the sun with a visit to Stowe Gardens, this is where Lancelot 'Capability' Brown started his illustrious career as a landscape gardener.
It is also the home of the independent Stowe School. The beautiful grounds have many follies, the four here from right to left are The Palladian Bridge, Lord Cobhams Pillar, The Gothic Temple and the Queens Temple. Well worth a visit!!
