Victorian Reservoir
It wasn’t so bright this morning, but we decided to head north to go to Dunster Castle. The day had brightened by the time we got there. We had a lovely day exploring the castle, the grounds, the gardens, the stables, the working water mill, the village, the church, the doocot, the tithe barn, the yarn market – there was lots to see! We started by going for tea and scones in a village tea room and had a picnic in the grounds for lunch.
One of the strangest places we explored was the Castle reservoir, which is located under the keep garden, which has supplied water to the castle, village and nearby Minehead. It has been recently “refurbished” to allow visitors to experience the reservoir
Here are TT and BB in the reservoir.
