Chasing Butterflies

The buddleia is buzzing just now.  All manner of insects are working with the flowers and it is living up to its name of 'butterfly' bush.  I have associated it with waste ground, abandoned properties and neglected walls and dykes.  It has an amazing capacity to thrive in the most unlikely of spots.

Cuttings taken from the bush earlier this year have also taken so I have some more plants I won't know what to to do with.  However, none of the dogwood cuttings have taken which is disappointing but I think I am approaching capacity for the number of plants I don't know what to do with so perhaps it is just as well.
