Oriental Lily

A late blip today.  Was at a planning meeting this afternoon at the craft shop where I do my classes, we were trying to sort out some workshops for the next few months.  It went on much longer than expected, although we would have got more sorted out if we had spent less time laughing.  I went into the garden and saw that the Oriental Lily. which I had been keeping my eye, on as the bud was getting bigger and bigger, had finally opened.  I took this shot from above to be able to see the beauty of the inside of the flower, but this gives no indication of how tall it has now grown.
