Seed head

When my decorator had gone and the windows were dry enough to close, I went for a walk up Llanymynech Rocks. A more sensible person would have gone by a cooling stream or through dappled shade on such a hot afternoon rather than up a hill with little shade!

While I was up there I had a very pleasant chat with three gentlemen "of a certain age", old friends from Welshpool, Derbyshire and The Pyrenees that had met up for the day after a long time. One of those  of lovely  moments of serendipity.

Everywhere was tinder dry and the views very hazy so the blip is of one of the seed head clusters on what looked like upright hedge parsley.  I liked the twirling shapes of the seeds - they reminded me of little creeping insects.
